Ok very large update

I am pregnant, currently 31 weeks along. Yikes I'm horrible at this blogging thing. I'm having a girl. We're going to name her Emma Lorraine Behunin with a possibility of adding a second middle name, but thats a secret until the baby comes and we decide. Well until I'm able to convince Jacob that is. I'm due August 29th but I bet it will happen around the 13th because of the full moon. Although I delivered Morgan 1 week before a full moon so maybe it will be the 6th.

Morgan is turning three next month. We're

teaching her letters, she recognizes them and knows what they say, now we're working on writing them. She's incredibly smart, she looks and acts more like a 4 year old. everyones always so surprised when they figure out she's not even 3. She's completely obsessed with dresses. Throws a fit whenever she can't wear one. Hello we live in WA its cold.

Jacob and I had our 5 year anniversary in February. It was soooooo nice. We left Morgan with my parents for the night and went to the space needle, ummmm Jacobs afraid of heights so you kind of guess how the first little bit went. We had such a great time.

We have an awesome ward, we've been going to a playgroup with 6 or so other families, its great, especially since one of the families owns a bouncy house company. We're so spoiled.

Last week my best bud Susan came up from Mississippi just to see me :P not really but I was a stop on the way. Its been

two years but we just started where we left off, it was awesome.

I'm also teaching dance again after three years. We just had our recital, its so great to be dancing again even if I'm only showing the dance moves. It was kind of hard at the very end when I can't do anything because I'm so big.

Its been a while since I've written. So I'll write and then I'll post some pictures. After 11 months of no job, Jacob got a job in Renton Wa. AWESOME. It came with a big raise but no benefits, so we have to purchase our own. Jacob worked there for about a month and then we found a place in Auburn (20 mins south of his work) that was just perfect for us. 2 bedroom, 2 bath, den, backyard, community pool. Awesome. We've been here for 2 weeks and I love being out on my own again.

Morgans funny little comments that make me feel oh so great. I was putting on my jeans that had just come out of the dryer and I had just gotten out of the shower. So I put my right leg of my pants on and I pulled it all the way up to my rear to help stretch it out a bit. Morgan saw that I was pulling them up and she decided that was a good time to say "Mommy's bottom stuck" AWESOME!!

I'm working on a new quilt, something I've never tried before (applique sunbonnet sue) I'm also making good money with Mary Kay considering how I'm not working that hard, and I'm also trying to get a job at a dance studio in Gig Harbor. But I don't think I'm going to get it. D:

Its ok though, I'm making money with Mary Kay.

Sad thing,, I don't have any friends here so its going to take some time for me to build some relationships. Susan I miss you

So for the past three months I have been in school. Jacob and I decided that I needed to finish my associates, since I wouldn't be losing any credits because I'd be going to the same school.

I had a math D: class, a sculpture and Biological Anthropology. I had so much fun. I did well in all my classes and I just finished my finals yesterday so we'll see how I did in the end. Anthropology was so awesome. If I can get away with it later in life I want to go back and do Forensic Anthropology and be like Bones the TV show. I'd be the coolest person ever and Jacob could be my booth.

Also I interviewed at a dance studio in the area and I got the job teaching. I'm totally excited. I had to do a substitute class so they can see my dance style, but apparently they liked it enough to hire me.

Morgan is huge. She is counting to 10 mostly on her own, knows green, red, purple, and she red her first word today. "pig" Mostly its just memorizing what it looks like right now but eventually she'll get it. We've been watching a program called "Your baby can read" pretty cool. I recommend it to everyone.

We went to the beach with Grandma and Grandpa. Morgan had so much fun. She would walk up the sand dune then sit down and slide down it on her butt. I wont attempt to tell you how much sand was in her diaper and other unmentionable areas.

I am getting so baby hungry. Morgan is going to be 2 in 4 months. Holey Moley!!! We have to wait though because we don't have insurance for Jacob and I. Morgan is on Medicaid though. However if I got pregnant than we could get Medicaid for me. Although we want to be a little bit firmer in our money situation before we try.

Jacob is working from home right now. We've been looking for a job since July but the economy has really been inhibiting that. He's working hard though for his family, and I'm really proud of how he's handling the stress. We'll get through.

I house is sooooo close to being sold. Hopefully by the end of this month.

Christmas Morning

First thing Christmas morning, I picked up morgan from her bed and took her into the living room where she saw her first present. Her couch.

She had a lot of fun, but she had a little bit of trouble opening the wrapping paper.

Uncle Josh was being a bit of a turd holding her Emily making her all jelous. Sometimes I wonder about his childhood. Thinks he misses his dolls.

OMG I love Christmas

Last week Jacob and I got our Christmas tree. They are soooo cheap here. In Utah we paid like $45-55 easily here they are $25 flat. Our tree is probably 8 feet tall and is very symetrical and pretty. We have had the same Blue and Silver lights the

past four christmas'. Getting kind of old. So maybe next year we'll

get Red and Gold. Oh and you know get those ribbons that you wrap the tree in.

I went and did black friday shopping for the first time ever. You know it wasn't too bad. I went to Toys R Us, Target, Walmart, and Old Navy. I went with two of my Sisters-in-Laws. They have both gone before so I was the newby. Anyone

have any first hand crazy experiences. I got like 15 movies. Sad... well maybe just pathetic. Our movie collection is out of control. But Jacob doesn't want to put the DVD's in a case, so we have 3 DVD wracks almost completely full.

So I watched the movie Julie and Julia, cute movie, and I was thinking that night that I should do something.

I was thinking, this sounds kind of boring, but I was thinking that since I've moved here I've been learning so many new things from my Mother-in-Law. She just taught me how to do Hardanger (look it up) its very intricuit but actually not too hard, then next month she's going to teach how to do sweading or something like that and boughoin stitching (bad spelling) So my thought was maybe I should make video tutorials of what she teaching me.. Is that just so boring. I'm a mom what can I say.

Seriously is anyone interested in anything I can teach them.....

Oh I know some good tricks the make your second chin look smaller in pictures or how to shade your face properly to get rid of a wide jaw and stuff like that.

Guys I'm pathetic.... I need to teach you something or just share my experience with something. I need to make some friends... I'm kind of pathetic :D

This last six months, even up to a year have been the most challenging in my life.

We have our wonderful little girl, and most people see her as such a delight which she is most of the time, but like most 1 or 1 1/2 year olds she has her HORRIBLE moments. Don't believe me just ask my parents or my inlaws. My mother in law made this adorable halloween quilt that Morgan absolutely loves (what kind of child loves only one blanket that she doesnt sleep with) and my mother in law will lay it on the ground and Morgan will lay on it roll around, trace her fingers on the spiderweb embroidery, she'll sit and play on there for a half hour but when its time to go she screams, and when Morgan screams she holds her breathe to the point you think she'll pass out. She has been a huge blessing. I love being a mom.....most days.

Besides my wonderful daughter, Jacob and I were able to go through the hellacious process of buying a home which we got to live in for 3 months. After a month of living there, Jacob lost his job. So because of the economy Jacob wasn't able to find a job in Utah so we looked in Washington and he was able to find one. We rented out our home to a college student, unfortunately she hasn't been able to make rent so theres a chance we're going to lose our home. We're trying to get it current, which we think we're going to be able to do, but if things don't get better we're most likely going to have to sell it, which will be pricey. And of course when finances are stressful it makes a marriage hard. So we've struggled, and fought and been at our whits end.

I also had an emergency room visit because I had an ovarian cyst that ruptured. I spent twelve hours in the hospital, had 7 rooms, and one surgery. I am now getting my bills, without the physician expenses, our tab is up to $34,000. Ouch

But all in the end... my husband and my daughter is the very reason why I'm still here. I watch a show with Reba McIntire called... ironically..REBA!! In her intro song she sings..

"I'm a Mom who works too hard who will loves her kids and never stop, with gentle hands and the heart of a fighter, I'm a survivor."

I'm a survivor, its hard to be strong through these hard times, and if it wasn't for my husband and child I wouldn't have been strong enough to survive this.

As you can see Morgan had a good time on Halloween. I think she was just most excited that she got to run around in other peoples yards. The first house she went to she walked in there door. I had to run in and get her.

Also Jacob got a job. He's working for a company called Pixel Fire. Right now he's making a an LED light display on the big gold building Vegas. I can't remember what its called. Its hard for him to go back to full time work when he's been doing freelance for 3 months

Morgans on the toilet

We're potty training Morgan. We just let her run around naked and she goes and sits on the toilet when she's ready. Its funny when she forgets though, because she just stands there crying as she pees down her leg. So here's the first poop in the toilet, pretty cute poop if poop could be cute.

For Halloween Morgan was a lady bug. She was pretty cute but her head must be big or something because her hat is too small. Ignore my picture here Morgan looked pretty cute.

I made a quilt for Morgan, Its not completely done yet but the top is so you can kind of see what it looks like.

Moving to Washington

Well I went up to Washington just to visit family and while I was up there I had a revelation that Jacob should come up here and look for jobs because the job search wasn't very successful in Utah. So Jacob has come up here and has been looking for a job for the past two weeks. He's had a few interviews and has a second intereview next week. But we've also found that he gets very positive feed back regarding his freelance work.

So we decided to move to Washington, we will be renting out our house which is sad but at least we wont lose it indeffinately for now. By moving up here Jacob has a higher opportunity to get as job as well as have more freelance work.

We are going to be renting out Jacobs parents downstairs which has a seperate entrance, kitchen, washer and dryer and everything. We've both agreed that we would be completely seperate.

So We're pretty bummed that we wont be in our house more than a few months but it gives us an opportunity to for Jacob to explore better options and for me to teach at my old studio and go to my old college. I'm pretty excited but pretty bummed.

We're going to miss everyone but we have to look for whats best for our family.

Since Jacob is home alot, looking for jobs and such, its been really nice having him home. We've done yard work (that desperately needed to be done) went up to the Canyon for a walk and to take some pictures. We celebrated his birthday, and went to scera pool.

The other day Jacob and I were laying in bed just talking around 11 pm. He sees all these miniscual spiders and the ceiling and wall. Looks like an egg just hatched. So Jacob spends about 30 minutes with a tissue going up to each spider to kill it. Our ceilings are a little vauled so there were areas that he couldn't reach, so what does jacob grab to kill them, ...a bat. Yep a bat. Surprisingly he did pretty well. For me it was pretty fun to watch because I didn't have my contacts in so I couldn't see what he was hitting, so it was kind of like watching a man that just walked into a spiders web in the distance or some man thats having a bee chase him.

This morning Morgan was walking around talking, and jacob is laying down so she comes up to him and slaps his face. I told her no and that she needed to be soft so she smiles and bends down and gave Daddy a kiss on his head where she hit him earlier. Her vocabulary is expanding now she can say: Dada, Mama, Nana, Bye Bye, more (in sign), all done (in sign), love you, and her favorite tickle tickle, which she walks around saying all day.

Morgan had her first birthday one week ago. We went to Idaho to my brothers baby blessing so it was nice to be around family for both events. Morgan had a fever that day so she wasn't really in the mood to play, sad.

Jacob and I are exploring our options for Jacobs work, we're ready to move on, so if anyone knows of a company that is hiring a web designer or a motion graphics guy let us know. Bad timing I know, right after we move into a house. Sometimes you just can't help the timing of things.

I'm working on Mary Kay, trying to earn some extra money. I really have fun while I'm doing it, its a great excuse to get out of the house.

House

We finally got it. The house is ours. On Friday we got approved from the bank and utah housing to get the house. We're hoping we can move in this weekend but it might be next week. Kind of a bummer about taking so long, but I'm so happy that its finally happened. I'll post some pictures once we get moved in and somewhat set up. Thank you to everyone who was supportive and understanding when I was upset.

Miracles

Everyone needs a miracle in their life to give them reminders that we are not alone and who is constantly watching over us. Mine was today. I babysit a 4 month old along with a 3 year old and then I am a mommy to a 10 month old. I have one single seat stroller. So I had the infant in the stroller, the three year old walking, and then my little on sitting on the top where the cup holders are. We've done it that way for months. Morgan has incredible balance and I hold on to her legs just for security reasons. I stopped for a second to fix the stroller, and Morgan lost her balance and fell. She landed hard on her back and head on the cement side walk. I picked her up right away. I held her close while she and I cried together. She cried for about 3 or 4 minutes. While I balled for about a half hour. Its been around 4 hours since its happened. And even now she doesn't have any scratches, red marks, bruises, bumps, or any markings of any kind. I know that our Heavenly Father was watching over her. My little angel.

Still Waiting

So this house thing is soo much harder than it needs to be. We got the bid approved that we placed! Only if we were able to settle on the 28th and move in on the 1st of May. So we agreed and then we started the hard part. The bank is doing all their great stuff and then about 4 or 5 days before we're supposed to settle they tell us that its taking longer than they thought. So we signed an ammendment saying the settlement date would be thursday the 1st. And then they told us that FHA wont approve the home because they own over 10% of the homes in the complex and apparently they don't want to. So now we're looking at having a 20% chance of actually getting the home. We have two more days until we know if its approved. If it is then we'll settle on friday and move in on the next Monday. We'll see. I'm praying like crazy.
We have decided to look at it in the best possible way. If we don't get it then we'll save up and be able to have a down payment then we wouldn't have FHA approve it. But we'll see. Thank you for everyone who has been sooooo supportive.
We'll let everyone know whats happening when we find out.

House Hunting

Jacob and I have been looking at homes for the past three weeks, seeing home about 3-4 times a week and about 2 or 3 homes at a time. Tiring! So yesterday we found a great place for us. Its a 3 bedroom 2 bath split entry townhome. It has a nice backyard so we'll be able to get another dog, which we're really excited about. Best thing is its in Orem where both Jacob and I work. So it even cuts down drive time. So we're putting a bid on it today and we'll see if we get it. If they decide to accept our offer its still going to take like 3 weeks. UGH I hate waiting, so not a patient person. So everyone which me luck, and hopefully we'll be able to move into this house by the end of the month.

So I walked in on Morgan a few days ago when she was drinking her bottle. She was laying on the couch and she had her feet up, she was holding onto her ankles and sqeezed between her feet was her bottle. She was using her feet to feed herself. Sadly enough I couldn't get the camera in time to take a picture.
Yesterday we went to DI and found one of those stand n play thingy's for Morgan. She loves it. She stands there and bobs her head to the music, its addorable.

I've been doing a lot of craft and sewing projects lately. There's this new place around her called Crafters Corner where you can get a lot of great stuff to make for around the house. Here's one that I've done. I'm doing a spring one in the next couple of days.

For my sewing projects I made some aprins for christmas and then I made a little cow rug blanket thingy, than a doll for Morgan and now I just finished this skirt.

I'm working on a shirt right now. I'm having a lot of fun.

We'll right now Jacob and I are looking at houses to buy. I'm so stoked. Bad part is most likely we're going to stay in utah which really surprised us but we feel like it is the right thing to do. But I'm really starting to think that we might just stay here for 5-10 years. I wish that it was a little closer to family but at least I have my brother here.

Christmas Break

This posting is a little late. But never late than never. For Christmas we went up to Midway, UT and stayed in a condo with the rest of the family. We had a lot of fun, it was great for everyone to see Morgan and how much she's grown in just a few months. My little sister Aubbi is working for Americorp and missing her boyfriend like crazy. (He's on his mission)

Morgan is getting four teeth in, not fun, with that and getting her shots last week, she's had a hard week. She's starting to try to communicate a little. Most of the time she just blabs.
She isn't turning over much yet, she is able to just doesn't do it very often. She really likes to sit up and pull up on things, mainly people. I think she might walk before she crawls. We'll see

Jacob has decided to switch from his school to a new investment opportunity. He's doing search engine optimization. He'll probably go back to school in the future. We're looking at possibly buying a house in about 6-8 months. It will all depend on this investment that Jacob is doing. Around the same time, after we move, we'll probably start trying to have a baby. The thought kind of scares the crap out of me at this point. I have a 6 month old and I babysit a 2 1/2 year old and will start with a 3 week old in two weeks. So I should deffinately have enough practice by the time we move. Still doesn't ease the nervousness though.

Thanksgiving

On wednesday (the day before thanksgiving) we heard that my sister in law was being induced three weeks early because of high blood pressure and toxemia. Little Hayden was born on 11/26/08 at 3:30am at 6 lds 1 oz and 18.5 inches long. So on thanksgiving we went to see him at the hospital. Since he was born my sister in law didn't get to have a thanksgiving dinner and my mother in law was coming into town. So we decided to wait to have dinner until saturday when everyone was together. Yesterday was awesome. Morgan was in her bouncer just enjoying the little mirror on there. Next to the mirror is a little duck that rattles. I heard the rattle and so I looked up to see what she was doing, and there she was hitting at it with her hand smiling. I pretty much called everyone I'm close to and bragged about it. She's growing up so fast.
Its fun to see that she is smiling even when we're not trying to make her. I'm trying to put the video up of her smiling. But am so far unsuccessful. I guess Jacobs just going to have to help me. I pretty much called everyone I'm close to and bragged about it.

Well Morgan had her two month checkup today. She weighed in at 13 pounds 1 ounce and 24 inches. She's getting so big its amazing. She had her first set of shots today. :( I had to leave the room because I don't like needles going in me, I don't think I would do very well with seeing them go in HER. She did well though. The nurse said that she didn't cry very much.

We do have a baby that doesn't get alot of recognition. She's been in our little family for 3 years and she's 4 years old. Give it up for .... Lucy

Well Jacob starts school soon. He only has a year left.....which is all that keeps us going. I think he's enjoying his schooling as an animator but also wants to look into doing some video work. But that will come down the road. He feels a little picked on by Morgan. She has her grumpy time around 6 to 9 pm which is when Jacob is home. So he thinks that she doesn't like him. Silly! He's her Daddy, of course she likes him.

As for me. I love being a mom. It has a lot of rewards but can also be very challenging some times. Morgan is starting to smile more even when we aren't trying to get her to, which can be the biggest treasure of all. I've been working about 10 hours a week, but we're going to be cutting that down to a few hours on saturday. Jacob works really hard at work but he has his side job stuff and school at home so its hard for him to take care of Morgan while I'm working. I'm going to start babysitting my bosses daughter later this month and then she is pregnant with another girl which I'll also babysit around the beginning of february. I'm really excited! I want Morgan to grow up with kids around her, so she learns how to share both her toys and her mommy.

Ok since my last entry I gave birth to Morgan Dawn Behunin. She weighed 8lbs 2oz and was 19.5 inches long. Since I don't like pain, got an epidural and the labor lasted 14 hours. She was born on 7/11/08 at 3:57 pm.

We went to Las Vegas a few weeks ago for a family reunion and then the following week my family came here, where Jacob did the baby blessing. Morgan wore a blessing outfit that her Grandma Behunin made her, which turned out amazing. I'm soon going to add more pictures of her in that outfit once I get them taken. Until then, enjoy the pictures.

Whats the Doc say?

Yesterday I had an appt with my doctor. He felt the baby and said that she feels pretty big, 7.5 pounds, which at this point she's supposed to be about 6.5 pounds. I am 2.5 cm dialated and am 60% effaced. He said that if he was to guess, he thinks I'll deliver before my due date. DUH! And then my mother-in-law says that she wouldn't be surprised if I didn't make it through this weekend. I think I'll make it till the beginning of next week. I'm guessing around the 2nd. The original due date is the 3rd and the second is the 15th. But with how far I'm along and also the 2nd is a full moon, that just seems like a good time.

We have a work party this weekend that I'm super excited about. There's going to be hula dancer as well as fire dancers, and some pretty awesome food. Not to mention swimming. I just hope I make it to that day. If I do then I'll post pictures.

And then on saturday I have Jacobs brothers wedding to go to. And my baby shower. Which I'm SUPER excited for. My neighbor is the one throwing the shower. She just happens to also be my coworker as well as in my ward. So she knows pretty much everyone that I know, which is awesome.

Well here I am, 36 weeks into my pregnancy. I personally think I wont make it to 40 but we'll see what my doctor says in two days. For all you that haven't been pregnant, water retention sucks, when the baby drops everything south of the border hurts, contractions sometimes last forever, and all you want to do is see you beautiful little baby.

So yeah my blog is pretty boring, so here is an update and I'll see if I can manage putting up some pictures.
Right now I am 35 weeks into my pregnancy and I've already been to the hospital twice. :)
We're going to name her Morgan Dawn, Dawn being my middle name. I'm deffinately feeling big at this point but I feel that I wont make it until make due date. I'm already dialated to 1cm at the beginning of last week, so we'll see what it is this coming week.
Jacob and I went to California last month, while we were there we went to a baby blessing, baptism, surprise birthday party, Disneyland/California Adventure, and a surprise baby shower. We really had an awesome time. We ended up missing the baptism by seconds because there was an old VW bug on fire on the highway creating massive traffic. So sorry Ali.
The birthday party was for Jacobs mom. She turned 60 and was completely surprised. It was so wonderful to see her expression when she walked into the church gym seeing all 10 of her siblings including their spouses and children, and then some of her friends from california which she hasn't seen for 10 years plus. I met Jacobs Kindergarden teacher as well as his first grade teacher. Weird!
Needless to say disneyland was awesome. I didn't really get to go on the rides because of my pregnancy but you almost see a lot more to Disneyland that way. We went and saw Aladin (a broadway), Its tough to be a bug (inpired by Bugs life the movie), Honey I shrunk the audience, and of course the tiki room. They had three awesome parades that we went to, The Parade of Dreams, Pixar Parade, and the infamous Parade of Lights. Jacob used to live in Anaheim and would go to Disneyland as a weekend event. It was fun to see the different memories he had and be able to share that with him.
The last day we were there with Jacobs family, they threw a surprise baby shower. Everyone pitched in and got Jacob, me and Morgan some baby gifts. Its so fun to have my in-laws supportive and active in our pregnancy. It really was a wonderful event.
We spent some time at Danielle's house where we talked about every type of food Jacob doesn't like, how excited I am for pregnancy, and how hard it is when you have an "active" child. Tristan is growing up to be a beautiful little bit with a lot of spirit. Its fun to see Danielle being a Mom.

We met in 2001 in Washington in our home ward. We got married on Febuary 18 2006. So we just celebrated our 2nd anniversary. Jacob is from Anaheim CA, and grew up as the 8th child out of 10. I'm from Seattle Wa., and am the 5th out of 6 children. Jacob is studying online to be an animator in a school called Animation Mentor. I am working to prepare for our first born. We are thinking of naming her Morgan Dawn or Liberty Dawn. She is due for July 15th. We now live in Orem Ut. I work for Utah Valley Pain Management and sell Mary Kay. Jacob works for Unicity Int., a health products company.
